Rare Vintage Collectable 1960's Video Village TV Board Game. Has been in our family since new. There are 2 people tokens but one is missing the foot base (as can be seen in the second photo). The remainder of the contents are complete and undamaged with game board, structures, rolling die, cards, money and full instructions / rules. The box is in good condition overall with vivid colours on the front of the box and clear print information on the base. The box has some scuffing on some edges / corners and one corner on the lid and one on the base have partly split open (they still hold well in position and have not been taped). Price is firm at $10.

Based on an American TV show of the same name, Video Village was a popular TV game show during the 1960s, produced by Crawford Productions for HSV7 in Melbourne Australia and screened on a number of interstate stations including here in Adelaide. Video Village took the format of a life-sized board game where contestants made their way around the “village” by completing tasks and quizzes. This home board game is a replica of the TV show format. A Milton Bradley Game, manufactured by John Sands in Australia.
