2004 Honda VTR 250, low kilometres, five-speed, runs perfect and LAMS approved.
The VTR250 has been compared to the Ducati Monster in appearance, with a trellis frame, V-twin engine aligned transversely and unlike pre 2003 models, also come stock with a tachometer. The VTR is pretty much the iconic learner bike since it?s an easy and enjoyable ride not to mention it?s lightweight and has a good power to weight ratio.
Selling the bike to upgrade since I have my R-class licence and although the VTR 250 has been good to be, I am going to be moving up to a VTR1000F Firestorm. Bike has a new rear tire (as you can see in photos) but does also have some slight cosmetic damage to rear of forward right mirror (see in photos) and slight cosmetic damage to exhaust (see photos). This occurred during a (embarrassingly slow) low side when I was a learner and hit gravel around a corner. Got bike serviced and rear wheel changed immediately after at Bills Motorcycles and was told that it?s in great shape and replacing anything would be simply for aesthetic reasons.
This is such a great bike and it?s sad to see it go and I?m sure you will enjoy it as much as I have. It?s awesome to ride and with fuel prices going up, if you haven?t got a motorcycle yet, this is the perfect time and the perfect bike.
