Baby rabbits in BIBARINGA, South Australia for sale

Pets and Animals

Baby rabbits for sale. Will be ready to go once they are 8 weeks of age (in about 7 weeks time). Allowing plenty of time for those interested to obtain a the necessary equipment eg. Pen/run or hutch, litter tray, food bowls, water bottles ect.
The father (buck) is a pure black Netherland dwarf X mini lop, and the mother (doe) is a pure white lop dwarf.
My sole interest for these kittens is that they go to a good home. I am only charging a price for them as a way of deterring people with pet snakes from trying to obtain them as live food. For those new to rabbit care, they are not the low maintenance animal the people think they are. Their environment has to be kept clean. How often you clean it will depend on the type of environment and how messy the rabbit might be. I'm not a big fan of little outdoor hutches. Most of the time they are too small and keeping the rabbit outside will exclude them from the family which will have negative affects on their nature as they are very social animals. Personally I recommend an indoor pen or run. This allows them plenty of space an keeps them socially involved with the family. Like cats and dogs, rabbits are family pets and must be treated like one. Keeping them inside can also double their life span. It is also important that rabbits have daily exercises outside of their enclosure. If you do keep them in a smaller hutch, then at least 2 hours per day of being free in the house is required, if you keep them in a larger enclosure them you can let the roam less if you have a busy day or whatever. You will also need to "rabbit proof" the environment that they run around in. They like to chew, especially on power chords which can be fatal. Protecting them from danger and your wooden furniture from their teeth is important. However you must provide them with untreated blocks of pine to chew on in order to help wear down their forever growing teeth. I could talk about rabbit care all day but I don't want to talk on here forever. I d however encourage those who are interested and are new to rabbit care to call me on the number provided and ask me any questions that you may have.
Photos will be put up once the rabbits are a few more weeks old and don't looks like hairless rats
