'Cottontail' Beautiful P/B Mini Lop Doe 1 year old in BIBARINGA, South Australia for sale
'Cottontail' is a beautiful Mini Lop doe..she was born in Feb 2014 making her16 months old. She is a gorgeous rich blue otter colour.
Cottontail came to me a few months ago as her family had gone through a separation, and moving house could no longer keep her. Before this she spent her days being loved and played with by 2 young girls who were quite upset to lose their bunnies.
Cottontail came to me quite shy as she had temporarily been left to grandparents to look after who unfortunately did not handle them. She is now friendly and looks for pats but can still be a bit shy and isn't too keen on being picked up (although with more regular handling I am sure this will change and she will once again be happy with it).
She was originally housed with her friend 'Peter' and has had one litter at about 6 -7 mths old. She had beautiful kittens that looked just like her. Since then she was mated several times but has not got pregnant again.
Peter has already gone to a loving pet home with a high school aged girl who adores him :)
Originally I was intending to breed with her but have decided against it...she is a lovely rabbit and I know for a fact she had come from a breeder of purebred mini lops, but unfortunately she is a bit oversized for a mini, and although her ears are both lopped, more often than not one ear seems to be almost permanently popping back up!
She has been well looked after and her coat is beautiful, thick and soft. ..she is in great body condition.
I would recommend her as a pet maybe for an adult or older child with previous experience with bunnies....if you can offer her a loving home, please text or email me.
